The first sight onto Kendall Lane when we turn left onto Argyle Street at the Orient Hotel. Within the walls of an 1850's sandstone building, The Rocks Discovery Museum tells the tale of the Rocks from pre-European arrival until today.
We will partake in an Aboriginal Cultural Tour to learn fascinating First Nations history, we will visit the artistic displays of The Cutaway, or simply wander the paths amid over 75,000 native trees and shrubs as we revel in the views.
We will wander up Hickson Road to peruse the piers of Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. Catch performances, classes, workshops at any number of creative spaces from the Sydney Theater Company to Bangarra Dance Theater.
We will continue north along Hickson Road until we reach Tar-Ra (Dawes Point Park) in the shadow of the Harbour Bridge. We will take a photo with the historic cannons, positioned to defend Sydney from naval attack in the 18th century.
